RTA Takes Part in Arabian Travel Market 2009 Exhibition

Dubai (United Arab Emirates): Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in Arabian Travel Market 2009 Exhibition, as part of other participating Government Departments through the Pavilion of Tourism & Commercial Marketing Dep’t.

“Through its stand, RTA exhibited to visitors all services & facilities provided to upgrade the service sector in the emirate, particularly roads, transport and safety services, besides the key projects delivered and others still under construction” said Peyman Younes Parham, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication Dep’t at RTA Corporate Support Services Sector.

“During the Arabian Travel Market, RTA showcased its leading role in serving the tourist sector in the emirate. Visitors receivd full explanation of the features and diversity of comfortable transport means and the infrastructure of roads network in the emirate. RTA also presented a film and offer publications depicting RTA landmark achievements. Visitors inquires about various services offered by RTA responded to the attending officials in the exhibition” added Peyman.

RTA participation this year comes under the umbrella of Tourism & Commercial Marketing Dep’t, Hall No. 3 together with other government bodies such as Dubai Police, and Department of Naturalization & Residency.

The Arabian Travel Market Exhibition, which was staging its 16th edition, is organized by Reed Travel Exhibitions during the period 5-8 May 2009 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Exhibition aims at uniting key market players from six continents, and unlocking the investment & tourism potentials within the Middle East region.

The Arabian Travel Market Exhibition features intensive meetings, seminars, press conferences and social networking opportunities, attracting participation from 107 tourist companies in addition to more than 70 others businesses hailing from more than 60 countries around the globe offering more than 2000 products.
