RTA opens today bridges leading to entry/exit points of Mirdiff City Center, costing AED184m

Roads & Transport Authority – Mohammed Al Munji:
Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) opens today Tuesday the bridges leading to the entry and exit points of Mirdiff City Center near Emirates Road. The project comprises a 3-lane bridge for traffic inbound from Emirates Road (Rashidiya) heading towards the Center, and another bridge to serve the traffic inbound from Tripoli Road to the Center. The total cost of the project was in the order of 184 million dirham paid by Majid Al Futtaim Co.

RTA Chairman of the Board and Executive Director H.E. Mattar Al Tayer said: “The Bridges have been completed in a record time to coincide with the opening of Mirdiff City Center Project. The new bridges aim at providing entry and exit points to the shopping center from all directions through capitalizing on the existing bridges and slopes in addition to the construction of new bridges. In the design of roads leading to the Center, attention has been given to providing direct access to the Center from various points at the multi-level parking lot in the direction of Emirates and Tripoli Roads”.

It is worth-noting that Mirdiff City Center spans an area of 196 square meters and comprises 430 outlets and is uniquely featured by 180 new brand names, besides a spacious area for recreation and leisure activities.

The Center provides entry facilities and parking lots capable of housing 7000 vehicles over three levels encompassing 12 entry/exit points at different levels.
Mirdiff City Center provides a special community areas, health clinics, health resort (Spa), personal care facilities, and a gym. It also incorporates an area exceeding 20 thousand square meters designated for unique recreational and fun activities including a special fun learning center for kids, internal aviation center (iFly), a 12-track bowling center, soccer circus, kids water playgrounds, and 10 cine complex halls constructed at the highest global standards.
