Da
Vinci’s gets an award it can’t refuse
Popular Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai eatery named
city’s best affordable Italian dining experience
Da Vinci’s restaurant at the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai has added another string to
its culinary bow after being named the best affordably priced Italian venue in
Dubai following an emirate-wide public vote.
One of the first Italian restaurants to open in the emirate, and a
perennially popular destination for local residents and hotel guests, the
restaurant picked up its latest accolade at the 2013 What’s On Awards gala
ceremony, held recently at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
Now in its twelfth year, the consumer-focused awards celebrate the cream of
the crop in the UAE’s hospitality, entertainment and leisure sectors, with the
general public voting for, among other categories, their favourite restaurants.
“Da Vinci’s is one of Dubai’s original
Italian restaurants and over the years has maintained its authentic charm and
built up a loyal clientele. The restaurant itself is reminiscent of a
traditional Tuscan trattoria with a warm welcoming ambience and our legendary
hospitality,” said Simon Moore, General Manager, Millennium Airport Hotel
Dubai.
“But it is the food that is the hero, and
which keeps people coming back time and time again. The combination of classic
flavours and hearty portions epitomise rustic Italian cuisine to create an
award-winning dining experience,” he added.
Voting is open to the public
only, with all votes independently counted and audited, then counter-verified
by a special panel of impartial industry experts.
