He added: “The Dep’t conducts its business in accordance with clearly defined strategic plans and a set of precise standards based on the vision of the RTA and Licensing Agency with regard to the provision of a safe transport environment. It seeks to enlighten road users with the aim of reducing crashes and enhancing traffic safety as part of the drive to realize RTA vision of providing ‘safe and smooth transport for all’. RTA & Dubai Police play a crucial role in raising the traffic awareness of a large segment of the community.

“During the visit VOSA delegation reviewed the technical testing centers, the mechanism of testing & licensing vehicles, and the standards & specifications of technical testing applicable in the emirate of Dubai.
